A GROUP of refugees from Burma enjoyed its first trip to the movies yesterday.The colonisation continues.
The 27 refugees are among a group of about 150 members of the ethnic minority Karen tribe who settled in Geelong seven months ago...
GATE case worker Nerma Kasic said the outing was organised as part of GATE's Integrated Human Settlement Strategy which helps refugees settle into the community by giving them assistance with everything from accessing medical treatment, childcare and enrolling in schools.
