Female gangs on the rise with more girl violence, NSW

August 15, 2008
GIRL violence has exploded across the state with an HSC student suffering multiple injuries during a savage bashing by a female gang.

Seventeen-year-old Julie-Anne Gill (pictured) needed a CT scan after complaining of dizzy spells five days after the brutal attack on a Friday night out...

Yesterday, her mother Rosemary blamed slack parenting and alcohol for the 20-minute attack on her daughter as police admitted assaults were on the increase...

"Their numbers are too overwhelming for police..." ...

The disturbing increase in hardcore violence by female school students was first revealed in The Daily Telegraph two years ago.

Documents obtained by this newspaper under Freedom of Information show teenage girls have threatened to stalk and bomb people, to harm school principals and have enlisted gangs to carry out revenge attacks.
