PHOENIX -- A man who walked into a 7-Eleven carrying his 2-year-old with his 6-year-old in tow shot and killed a convenience store clerk early Monday morning, police said...

The man had a brief conversation with the clerk at about 2:15 a.m. and then opened fire while holding the 2-year-old child, killing the 62-year-old clerk, officers said. He then walked out of the store with the children, who did not appear to be injured, police said
