November 9, 2008

Four men, including Pacific Islanders, drove stabbed Tulonga Taimovai, 42, from a farm in north-west Victoria to Nyah West police station (near Swan Hill). The stabbed man died whilst waiting for an ambulance. Ha Piliu, 58-year-old, of Werribee has been charged with murder. The incident allegedly occured on an almond farm, involving Pacific Islander seasonal workers.

Has the guest worker pilot program started yet? Is this part of it? UPDATE: no, the pilot hasn't started yet.
